Carmelfest Parade
We have been invited to march in the Carmelfest http://www.carmelfest.net/ parade on 5 July 2010 (Carmel, IN).
The parade is 1 3/4 miles long. If you are in the interior of the parade, there are a lot of stops and starts, and it would take 1 1/2 hrs to march it. The pace is slow. The parade starts at 10:30. Our contact stated that he will suggest we lead the parade. That may or may not come to pass, as he yields to the parade detail planners.
The Carmelfest has a large area with food booths, etc., to include Civil War and Rev War reenactors' camps. We can also have a tent manned by several to "show our stuff". Any volunteers?
